This BOREAL drone flight campaign marked a successful first: the flights took place in extreme winter conditions, with temperatures dropping to -10°C, accompanied by episodes of snow and fog. The operating site was equally unprecedented, enabling the teams to take off from the edge of a frozen lake and land the drone directly on its surface.
